Peace of my Mind
A Peace of My Mind started when while traveling we saw so many wonderful people who could have supported themselves and their families if they only had a little help.
When you are among the poorest of the poor, regular institutes won’t loan funds to you and working for another usually produces barely enough to feed your family and maybe not even enough to send a child to school.
So to save enough to start your own business is nearly impossible, unless you trade eating for saving.
What we are endeavoring to do is provide the start up costs and one year supervision to enable women to become entrepreneurs.
$100 will start someone in Kenya on this path.
Your gift of all or part of this start up costs, will go completely to the new business owner. You will receive a quarterly update on their progress for the first year. You have the opportunity of reviewing each person’s desired occupation and give to the individual of your choice.
Any hand crafted items will be sold through this website and others under the brand name of ‘Peace of My Mind.’
