Well hello from Encompass Ministries!
We are extremely glad to be online and to officially be part of the 21st century! 2008 was a year of new beginnings, and there was no shortage of them with us. We are now working full time with EM and SanPerLa ( the business/ministry in Rwanda, Africa).
I just want to share a few things this month to encourage you in these times of uncertainty in this world. First of all JESUS said in JOHN 16:33, in the WORLD you will have tribulation. He didn’t say you might have it, or if your lucky you wont have it, He said you WILL have it…. But listen, He also said… “but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Now that is the best news you will ever hear, because he ( JESUS ) overcame the world. This includes the flesh, the fallen nature, all sickness, and disease. That means that YOU too, have overcome the world!!!! You are in HIM and HE is in you..RIGHT!! And greater is HE who is in you ( JESUS ) than HE ( the defeated one ) who is in the world 1st JOHN 4:4.
I know it looks like the defeated one is winning the war in this world, AND I even hear some Christians…. ( not sure they are believers yet ) saying the devil sure has a lot of power in this world. My friends don’t be moved by what you see, be moved by what you BELIEVE and that better be the WORD of GOD!!
It’s a psalms 91 time that we are facing, and this world and America is changing right before our eyes, in fact I was talking to Kathleen a few days ago and saying… this is not America anymore… the America I grew up in, and raised the kids in, and knew up until now… IT’S CHANGING TO THE POINT WHERE I DON’T RECOGNIZE IT ANYMORE. So what to do? Trust in the LORD with all of your heart and lean NOT UNTO YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING and in all your ways ACKNOWLEGE HIM and He will lead and direct your PATH’S PROVERBS 3:5 .
This is a time like no other, and we have to be led by the SPIRIT of God. Now there are some things in the natural that we can do also to be wise in this time, and I will devote another section of this site for that purpose. These will just be my own thoughts on some wise and practical things that we can do in preparation for what’s coming to America, and to some degree is already here.
Every month we will have a featured article that will encourage you in your walk with GOD.
